💡 Vision

Artum (ARTUM) is a fixed-supply ERC-20 token built on Polygon, created to serve as a medium of exchange within the Web3 art ecosystem — connecting digital artists, collectors, and creative platforms. Artum is not limited to NFTs: it is designed to support the exchange of artworks and creative work more broadly, from commissions and digital pieces to services and collaborations between artists and buyers.

🎯 Problem & Solution

Today, artists and collectors operating in Web3 rely on general-purpose assets (ETH, USDC, or platform-specific credits) that carry no identity tied to the art community itself, and often come with high fees on networks other than Polygon. Artum addresses this by offering:

• A dedicated, community-branded unit of exchange for art-related transactions.
• Low transaction costs, by deploying on Polygon rather than Ethereum mainnet.
• A transparent, fixed and scarce supply, avoiding the inflation risk of freely-mintable tokens.
• A simple, audited-pattern ERC-20 contract with no hidden fees, no blacklist, and no transfer restrictions — fully compatible with standard DEX routers.

🔒 Contract Design & Trust

The Artum smart contract follows a minimal, transparent design intended to build trust with holders:

• Fixed maximum supply: the full 10,000 ARTUM was minted once at deployment; the minting function is permanently disabled afterward.
• The owner has no ability to freeze accounts, block transfers, change balances, or add fees at any point.

This design intentionally excludes the mechanisms most associated with malicious or high-risk tokens (fee-on-transfer, rebasing, blacklisting, unlimited minting), so that liquidity providers and holders can evaluate the contract's behavior with confidence.
